Preparation for Spain!!

I am so excited. We are going to two of the most beautiful cities in the world, Barcelona and Sevilla in Spain.

For 2 weeks!!

I am also informed that crime rate is pretty high there. Yes., maybe they are being kiasu but I think it's also good to take some precautions. Especially because we are travelling with Sheldon.

There are also other preparations that will help smoothen the journey.

So a few things we did before going:

1. Back up all our phones, we are bringing three, and one will be used for the Spain's local sim card.

2. We are only bringing 1-2 credit cards and leave the rest in the safe. 

3. I used another wallet, smaller and striking colour one, and pack only IC, credit cards (activated for overseas usage) and also some Euro. Just put a couple of hundred in the wallet and the rest will be hidden in the safety waist pouch. And leave the other everyday wallet behind. 

4. Bought a safety neck pouch for hubby cos his waistline is too big anyway haha.

5. We also took down the toll free numbers to call for our credit cards in case we lose them.

6. I downloaded this app : tripdeck and entered all the itineraries.

7. Printed all tickets and hotel vouchers.

8. Packed suitcase (of course), especially Sheldon's stuff.

9. I decided to pack light and bring a detergent (to wash clothes if needed). As I expect to shop a lotttt in Spain. So the suitcases are quite empty now.

10. We also packed 2 weeks worth of milk , very important, in case cannot find the brand overseas.

11. We decided to bring the stroller eventhough we know some cobbled path ways in both cities may make it difficult to use stroller. But we figure it will be very handy when we go shopping.

12.For ladies, better leave your jewelleries behind. And I also avoided bringing branded bags when travelling. Anyway, you may buy one there.

For sleeping, I also brought old T shirts that I wouldn't mind throwing away in case there's not enough place in the suitcase.

13. And then did the online check-in...And get enough rest before flying.. ...oh I can't wait!!!

14. I have also been reminding Sheldon over and over again. That he has to be careful when going for holiday, no running around, stick close to mommy and daddy. Hope the message sticks when we get there!

He is very excited too! He know we are going for holiday again! =)
